As the Turkish Health Tourism Association, since 2005, we have been producing publications, projects, printed-visual materials in cooperation with ministries, development agencies, universities and non-governmental organizations in order to develop Turkey's health tourism potential; national and international workshops, seminars, congresses, conferences, health law, professional English training programs are organized.
Our association studies, which inspired the creation of country policies in Health Tourism, also shed light on and pioneered many non-governmental organizations and the private sector. The fact that health tourism has become a government policy together with the "Health Transformation Program" has changed our perspective on this issue as a country and broadened our horizons. The meeting of the missions of the Turkish Health Tourism Association and our government policies on a common ground also sets an example for the joint work between NGOs and the state.
